The ECOMMERCE ONE Group, combining Afterbuy and DreamRobot, provides a comprehensive suite of Software as a Service (“SaaS”) solutions for small to mid-sized online merchants selling their products through web shops and online marketplaces, such as Amazon or eBay.
The platform enables its users to manage and automate difficult, manual and time-critical processes, such as multi-channel product listing, data collection and stock management.
In May 2021, Oakley acquired a majority stake in Afterbuy and DreamRobot, combining the two businesses into ECOMMERCE ONE. The combination represents the first step in the Group’s long-term strategy of becoming the #1 provider of e-commerce SaaS solutions in the DACH region, both through organic growth and M&A.
In 2022, ECOMMERCE ONE acquired eBay SEO and analytics software BayGraph, offering attractive upsell opportunities to the Group’s existing eBay merchants.
The e-commerce software market is experiencing rapid growth, underpinned by a structural shift as consumers increasingly transact online and retailers launch and expand their online offerings. Software solutions offered by ECOMMERCE ONE represent mission-critical enablers of online merchants’ e-commerce success, by bundling and automating a full range of online sales functionalities, which results in a loyal customer base and recurring subscription revenues.
