Oakley Capital strengthens platform with promotions including four new Partners

Following a milestone year in 2025 for capital deployment and fundraising, including €1.3 billion in fresh investments and the successful close of Fund VI at its €4.5 billion hard cap, Oakley Capital is pleased to announce a series of promotions as the firm carries its strong momentum into 2026.

Within the Investment Team, Oakley has promoted four Managing Directors to Partner: Alessandro Celli, Konstantin Synetos, Lovis von Andrian and Mike Mutsaers.

Alessandro Celli landscape

Alessandro joined Oakley in 2020, having previously held roles at Deliveroo, Francisco Partners and Providence Equity Partners. He focuses on the Technology sector, and has played a key role in Oakley’s investments including Dexters, Liberty Dental Group and, most recently, Paraty Tech.

Konstantin Synetos

Konstantin joined Oakley in 2018 from OPTrust Private Markets Group and Jefferies. He has been instrumental in investments such as Athena Racing, vitroconnect and Alerce, and is a core member of the team leading Oakley’s lower mid-market Origin strategy.

Lovis Von Andrian

Lovis has been with Oakley since 2016 and has worked extensively on investments such as WebPros, Contabo, hosting.com and Assured Data Protection. He previously worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and PWC, and brings deep expertise across hosting, infrastructure software, and IT services.

Mike Mutsaers

Mike joined Oakley in 2018 from Bain & Company and has since played a critical role in a number of investments within the Business Services sector, including Steer Automotive Group, Phenna Group and, most recently, G3.

In addition, Cristina Popescu, Peter Kisenyi and Alessandro Costamagna have been promoted from Director to Managing Director.

Cristina joined Oakley in 2019 from Barclays and has worked on investments including GLAS, Phenna Group, IU Group, vLex and Ocean Technologies Group, with a particular focus on the Business Services sector.

Peter joined Oakley in 2021 from Silverfleet Capital. He focuses on the Education and Business Services sectors and has worked on a number of investments including ProductLife Group and Time Out Group.

Alessandro joined Oakley in 2023 from Stirling Square Capital Partners. He has worked on investments including Liberty Dental Group and Alessi and is a member of the Business Services team.
