Oakley Capital has completed its fourth annual “Miles in March” fundraising challenge, with colleagues across the firm collectively running, cycling, walking, swimming and skiing to clock up as many miles as possible in pursuit of a shared goal.
Oakley completes fourth Miles in March challenge, raising funds for World Cancer Research Fund and War Child
This year, #TeamOakley set a target of 25,000km and surpassed it, reaching a total of 28,403km over the course of the month.
Achieving this milestone unlocked donations for the firm’s chosen charities, World Cancer Research Fund, supporting global research and education programmes focused on cancer prevention and War Child which provides protection and education to children affected by conflict.
Now in its fourth year, Miles in March has grown steadily, with Oakley increasing its target distance each year. Since its inception, the team has covered more than 85,000km, reflecting strong participation across our offices and a shared commitment to working together in support of meaningful causes.
Previous challenges have supported charities including Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, which delivers emergency medical care in crisis zones, as well as Impetus and Groundbreaker, both focused on expanding opportunity and supporting underserved communities.
The challenge is an important part of Oakley’s wider commitment to charitable causes. Oakley looks forward to building on this challenge, pushing for the next target and continuing to support charities that it feels passionately about. Bring on #MIM 2027!
