We're hiring!
We invite you to apply for the Oakley Capital 2024 Internship Programme. Gain valuable industry experience and learning opportunities, the first step in your new career in private equity.
About Oakley
Peter Dubens founded Oakley in 2002 to be the partner of choice for ambitious entrepreneurs and management teams. Today, we are a leading, pan-European investor based in London, Munich and Milan with c.€10bln AuM. We invest in exceptional businesses across the technology, education, business services and consumer sectors. We believe that diverse teams can produce better results for all our stakeholders, and we’re proud of the inclusive, collaborative and open culture we have created at Oakley.
About you
You’re a hard-working, ambitious MBA student graduating in 2025. You ideally have prior work experience in investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory or private equity. You’re a team player, with great analytical and communication skills. You’re ready to work independently and take initiative, but you’re not afraid to ask questions. You have excellent English skills (additional European languages are a plus).
About the role
As an intern, you will support the investment team in all aspects of their work. You will support deal origination by helping us to identify new investment opportunities and analyse promising new markets. You’ll work on exciting transactions, and will have the chance to present your findings to the investment team. Your work will include analysis of company financials, markets, competition and strategy, assisting with due diligence, and preparing financial models.
How to apply
Please email your CV and covering letter to recruitment@oakleycapital.com explaining why you’re interested in the role and in Oakley Capital, as well as your suitability based on the criteria outlined above.
Following either in-person or remote video interviews, successful applicants will be invited to take up their minimum, three-month internship in London, Milan or Munich*, with flexibility around start dates to accommodate your timetable.
*(Munich internships available in 2H 2024 only.)
